The project manager will have an easier job because of the detailed information and structured data the software will generate with superior accuracy and efficiency. Such programs are designed to deal with some very large tasks, so they can manage a project no matter its complexity and dependencies. Such software can calculate and generate critical path and flow charts very fast and very accurate, beyond the capabilities of any human project manager. However, this does not mean a human coordinator is redundant. He still has to manage the available resources and to interpret the graphics and charts generated by the project control software tool. Procedural planning and implementation are the key elements behind an efficient project management and what these software tools do is to ease the coordination and calculation efforts for the entire project.
